Balayage Highlight

Balayage Highlight

Balayage Highlight is a French highlighting technique, which means “the sweep”.

Balayage is the newest technique for a range of fabulous high light.

However is not a new one for Carole Hakoun that has became an expert for more  than 20 years in the Balayage technique.

She was trained to it in France and the technique is rarely seen outside the best salons of Paris.

Balayage requires a good eye and a very steady hand and must be performed by an experienced hairdresser who has extensive knowledge of the technique.

Giving you the beautiful customized hair color you see on runways with something as simple as the stroke of a brush Carole Hakoun turns an ordinary head of hair into a mass of beachy highlights.

Balayage is the art of painting hair as an artist paints a canvas.

With this technique of highlights you get a lot less maintenance, and it grows out alot softer at the roots.
This is what makes balayage different from foil highlights—the placement of color is guided by the natural movement of the hair.

Compared to regular highlights, balayage is a faster, healthier and more organic process for your hair.

By omitting the use of foils, balayage stops the over processing and damage that often occurs with foil highlights.

Each highlight is painted there are no stripes.

Balayage can be done on any base color because the effect is so natural, and low lights can be balayage too!

And because Carole also knows(and used to teach)hair cutting and styling, she incorporates that knowledge leaving you looking and feeling like a true masterpiece!

Ombre Effect

The new trend , the Ombré effect — or grown-out highlights — has been big news this year with heaps of celebs.

However is not a new one for Carole Hakoun that has been trained in Paris to become an expert in the  technique.

The Ombré effect is a beachy, sun kissed hair.

It can be done on any base color because the effect is so natural.

On top of that since the look is strategically “grown out” you wouldn’t have to visit the salon every month!

There is no maintenance to the Ombré effect.
